Shaun Kaufman, B.A., University of Colorado Boulder 1979,
J.D. University of Denver, 1984, specializes in forensic and financial
investigations,
domestic relations and civil surveillances, and criminal litigation
assistance. While in law school received the 1983 American Jurisprudence
award for excellence in constitutional law study. Served as an
editor of the Denver University Law Review, 1983, and was Chief
Editor for the Tenth Circuit Survey, 1984, and published “Survey
of Criminal Law Developments” in that issue. Deputy State
Public Defender, Eighteenth and Fourth Judicial Districts, Colorado
1984-89. Graduate, National Criminal Defense College, Mercer
Law School, Macon, Georgia, July 1987. Tried over 125 felony
jury trials, numerous misdemeanor trials, as well as courts martial
proceedings and civil jury trials during 17 years law practice.
Attended seminars conducted by National Association Criminal
Defense Lawyers and Colorado Criminal Defense Bar for lawyers
and how they work with investigators on issues such as ethics,
death penalty litigation, homicide and gang evidence, search
and seizure techniques. He co-authored an article on polygraph
techniques, published in PI Magazine in May/June 2005*.

Colleen Collins,
a graduate of the Private Investigator Academy of the Rockies, specializes
in witness locates and interviews, surveillances, and
infidelity
investigations.
Her 20 years experience managing and editing corporate writing
teams, as well as being a multi-published, award-winning author,
make her
an expert researcher and writer with a reputation for preparing
clear, informative, and well-crafted reports. Colleen has been a
speaker
at national writing conferences on topics ranging from indexing
books
to crafting fiction and her novels have placed in the finals for
national competitions, including the prestigious Holt Medallion
and RITA awards.
She conducts online courses on the mechanics of private investigations
for other professionals. Her articles on private investigations
have been published on various Internet sites as well as in PI
Magazine.
